Our Festival Review 2021!
The last bit of bunting has come down from the rafters of wonderful Stock Street Farm Barn but here are some images of our 2021 East Anglian Storytelling Festival. We felt it was the best yet: a weekend full of the warmth of storytellers meeting after so long, a great feeling of community, top-class performances and amazing stories. Not to mention the amazing music that got us all dancing, the warm welcome from our host, Michael Staines, and a show-stopping interlude with Boudicca Morris. Thanks to Arts Council funding we were able to put on a Covid-safe festival and reach a bigger audience than ever before, including nearly 1000 children with our outreach programme!
Here's what some people said:
Now I understand the power of storytelling!
A cleverly curated event… we were blessed to attend.
It is wonderful to see the storytelling and music community back together.
I cannot imagine the struggles that you must all have had to make this Festival happen: it was worth it. A triumph of human interaction in an inhuman year.
It was a magical weekend of storytelling. The barn looked spectacular with the festival decorations. It made us feel very special.
